Thank you, mom is a narrative short film, the audience peers into the life story of a woman through a series of journal entries. Each entry captures a pivotal moment, as she grows up in the wake of her father's death and her mother's effort to rebuild their lives. 

This film is one of the five short films to be commissioned by Tribeca &  @OpenAI to utilize SORA, an unreleased text-to-video platform. The initiative aims to explore the developing space of generative AI as a creative tool by empowering filmmakers to engage with the tool on their own terms and exhibit their work within the festival environment. 

During the rapid three-week production of Thank you, mom, the international team of animators, artists, and technologists utilized Open AI’s SORA as a tool in their production pipeline alongside other platforms such as Photoshop, ProCreate, and Premiere.
